Daily Activities

Circle Time		Teacher directed group activity during which students go over the daily schedule, sing songs, do creative movement and have the daily lesson.
Work Stations		Groups of three to four students are pulled for arts and crafts projects.
Story Time and Nap		After lunch, students lie down and prepare for an afternoon nap. A story is read aloud followed by the playing of classical music.
Private Lessons		Twenty-minute one-on-one sessions with a teacher to work on language arts and mathematics curriculum. Full-day students are pulled twice a day, and half-day students are pulled once.
Indoor Free Play		Two to three age-appropriate groups rotate through designated stations for supervised play.
Outdoor Free Play		Age-appropriate groups have access to a play structure, sandbox, bicycles, tricycles, assorted balls and basketball hoops.
Show & Tell		Each Friday, students bring a favorite object to preschool for sharing with their classmates.
Art		Freestyle painting and coloring along with teacher-directed projects.
Movement		Movement is incorporated into Circle Time and consists of stretching, walking, jumping, dancing and balancing.
Music		Music is incorporated into Circle Time and consists of group singing as well as preparing songs for seasonal performances.
