The Sand Castle Preschool’s curriculum incorporates a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities including but not limited to, singing, dancing, exercise classes, games, circle time, art, Spanish and sign language, story time, and lessons in language arts, math, science, social studies, and geography as well as exposure to educational videos.
The Sand Castle uses Color Me Smart® curriculum to prepare students for an accelerated kindergarten program. With that goal in mind, The Sand Castle develops fine-motor skills as well as gross-motor skills. Class activities are student-directed, encouraging learning through discovery and creativity, as well as teacher-directed activities designed to introduce foundational skills and the ability to follow directions.
We at the Sand Castle want to be an extension of our students’ homes providing a loving, nurturing, safe environment wherein your child continues to blossom educationally, emotionally, and socially.
